Dominguez Investigations is a MA Licensed Private Investigator Agency located in Boston, MA.  Donna Dominguez, with her husband Ed Dominguez, formed Dominguez Investigations in 2015.  

Its founder, Eddie Dominguez, had an extensive career working in law enforcement, and now as a Private Investigator.  Eddie worked as a Boston Police Detective for over 29 years assigned to the Drug Unit, Major Case Unit and as a Special Federal Task Officer when assigned to an FBI Task Force for his last 9 years in Law Enforcement. 

During his 29 years in Law Enforcement, Eddie investigated a vast array of different crimes ranging from robberies, distribution of narcotic substances, homicides and everything in between. 

Eddie worked for Major League Baseball on a part time basis as a contract employee (Resident Security Agent) for 9 years while still in Law Enforcement and was recruited to join MLB’s elite Department of Investigations in 2008. 

As an RSA, Eddie handled Executive Protection of high ranking members of the MLB Commissioner’s Office, Team Ownership, players and their families. Eddie also handled setting up security at stadiums in the U.S. as well as countries such as Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.

As a Manager at MLB DOI, Eddie investigated, solved, and assisted in the prosecution of individuals in cases concerning corruption, threats, extortion, kidnappings, identity fraud, performance enhancing substances, and other crimes associated with Major League Baseball. Eddie was Co- Lead investigator in the “Biogenesis Investigation” which led to the arrest of Miami drug dealer Anthony Bosch and the suspension of a number of players including Alex “ARod” Rodriguez.

Throughout his extensive career, he has established relationships throughout the world that allow him to handle investigations at a National and International level. He has associates throughout the U.S. as well as all of Latin America and the Caribbean.   

In 2014 Eddie left MLB and soon thereafter formed Dominguez Investigations. 

Since it’s inception, Dominguez Investigations has handled Executive Protection for world renowned celebrities, CEOs of major corporations and assorted VIPs.

Dominguez Investigations working with numerous attorneys, city agencies and private individuals has investigated domestic violence, robberies, narcotics, homicides and many other crimes.

Dominguez Investigations has multiple investigators to meet all your investigative needs.  All employees have extensive experience with most having prior law enforcement experience. 

Donna Dominguez graduated from Suffolk University with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, summa cum laude.

She has worked in the criminal justice system as a Federally Certified Court Transcriber and an Approved Court Transcriber for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the past twenty years. 

Over the past five years, she has conducted numerous investigations in her capacity as a Private Investigator with Dominguez Investigations.
